RCI CUSTOM BMXM-16

Description

The RCI BMXM-16 is a highly isolated 16 output portable or rack mountable expansion module, designed for use with the RCI Custom family of Broadcast Media Mult Boxes. The unit allows a user to increase the output capacity of any RCI Mult box (or any 600 ohm +4dBu analog audio source) by an additional 16 highly isolated transformer-balanced mic outputs from a single line level audio source.

The input of the BMXM-16 operates at a nominal line level of +4dBu @600 ohms. The large VU input meter allows for monitoring of the input signal level. All outputs provide a nominal mic level of –46dBu. Each output is isolated and balanced using Jensen brand transformers to eliminate hum, noise, and crosstalk between all connected media equipment.

Multiple BMXM-16s may be linked together via the convenient front panel Link Output. The BMXM-16 is a passive device requiring no power, and it is completely maintenance-free. Additionally, the unit is available with handles for portability, or may be rack mounted with the optional 3RU rack ears.

Designed for broadcast industry use, the BMXM-16 expands the capabilities of RCI’s industry standard BMSeries Mult Boxes.
