Description

The 2RU Modular Broadcast SMPTE Panel is a rugged, rackmount connectivity solution designed for stadium, arena, broadcast truck, camera pedestal, floor box, control room, and rack room applications. Built from durable .093″ aluminum with a black powdercoat finish, this panel provides nine modular connector positions for flexible broadcast, fiber, audio, video, data, and power connectivity.

The panel is designed to support SMPTE 304M camera fiber applications and is compatible with SMPTE connector solutions from LEMO, Canare, Optical Cable Corporation, and other leading manufacturers. Its modular design allows the panel to be factory-configured or field-configured with a wide range of connector types, including SMPTE, ST, SC, LC, opticalCON, XLR, BNC, RJ45, SpeakON, blank plates, and 30-degree doghouse adapters.

A specialized 16″ deep chassis provides additional space for internal cable management, field terminations, strain relief, and protected connectivity. The chassis includes a removable top cover for easy service access and an internal removable connectivity partition that separates the SMPTE fiber connector area from the field-terminated connectivity area. This partition allows SMPTE fiber connections to transition to ST, SC, or LC fiber connectors, while copper connections can be managed through a 6-position Molex connector.
