Project Sharing

Users have the ability to share projects from the "Project Portal" with any PBSE user. This allows multiple people to work on one shared project from any computer. Users have the ability to give access in two ways:

Read Access - Allows the individual to view the project and pricing but they can not make changes or submit the order.
Write Access - Individual has full control over drawings and can submit the order.

Shared project access can be changed by changing their share access to "None."

Follow the below steps to share a project:

• From the "Project Portal" find the the project you wish to share
• Click on the share icon located on the far right of the project

• If you are sharing a project with a PBSE user in your company you will see their name
• Click on the "None" and select what kind of access you wish to grant them

To share a project with a user not in your company simply click "Add User" and type their e-mail address in the pop up.

Shared projects will appear in the users Project Portal the next time they log in. Please be aware that shared projects will appear in the project portal by the date the project was created, not the date the project was shared.
