RCI Custom Products is set to release PanelBuilder Version 2.0. June 16, 2008 at this years INFOCOMM exposition in Las Vegas. PanelBuilder, launched in 2002, is the original online panel design, quote, and purchasing tool for AV professionals.
“The 2.0 upgrade reflects changes inspired by direct input from our customers, and provides a more intuitive and robust design and purchase package for users of every level.” said Bud Waters, Vice President of Sales “PanelBuilder 2.0 is yet another example of the aggressive approach RCI is taking to offer the best service, product and pricing to our customers”.
New or improved features offered with PanelBuilder 2.0 include:
- Offline Design Capability – program downloads to the users computer
- Does not require a Web Browser to use
- Automatic parts and pricing updates when users connect online
- Expanded file saving capability, including DWG, PDF, .SO1 and .RCI formats.
- Files are transferable to AutoCAD®, Stardraw®, and many other design tools.
- New and improved tools allow for rotation of parts, adding logos, importing artwork
- Improved drag and drop technology
